Dog Training:
Private Classes: $75 per 1 hour session * any Private Session more than 10 miles away from my home will be charged an extra $5. After that an additional $5 will be added every 5th mile (11-14 miles away- $10 more, 15-19 miles away- $15 more, 20-24 miles away- $20 more).- Private classes are available to help you and your dog with any training or specific behavioral issues. Private sessions allow the privilege of being able to host sessions wherever it will benefit your dog the most: at home, out on a walk, at the park, etc. They also allow you and your dog to have complete one on one attention from me, your dog trainer, as well as the luxury of having my complete guidance to help ensure that you and your dog has a full and well rounded understanding of the training methods being used (I am always just a text message or email away whenever you need me). Private classes also allow you to schedule your sessions whenever it is most convenient for your schedule.
Private Classes can cover topics such as:
1. Puppy Class: Being The Pack Leader, Potty Training, Nipping, Jumping, Grooming, Fear Stages, Importance of Consistency, Intro to Loose Leash Walking, Meals & Nutrition, Greeting People/Dogs, Importance of Socialization & Exercise, Intro to Basic Obedience Commands
2. Basic Obedience: Learning Pace, Power of Positive Reinforcement, Basic Obedience Cont., Loose Leash Walking Cont., Obedience in Every Day Life, Fun Commands, Intro to Heel, Fetch
3. Advanced Obedience: Heel Cont., Retrieve, Place, Sit Pretty/Bear, Play Dead, Off-leash work
4. Behavioral Issues: Barking, Jumping, Leash Aggression, Anxiety & Separation Anxiety, Mouthiness, Counter Surfing, Chasing, Resource Guarding, Stubbornness, Ignoring Commands
Dog Walk & Train-
Is your dog having an issue that needs to be worked on more often than your schedule allows? My Walk & Train service is exactly what you need. This is a service where I come by your home sometime during the week to work with your dog on their issue(s) one on one to give your dog the extra training they need while you are at work. After each Walk & Train I send you a review of how everything went and homework to do throughout the week. Dogs who suffer with any separation anxiety, reactivity/fear issues, socialization issues, etc, are all examples of the types of behaviors that need extra time and training; and that would benefit from my Walk & Train service. All Walk & Train clients MUST also book at least 2 Private Lessons every year in order to see the techniques I use so they can utilize them at home, ensure techniques are being done correctly by all household members as well as help determine if different techniques need to be utilized or changed in any way to help progress.

Agility: 4 classes, $25 per class- Tuesdays from 6pm-6:30pm starting July 11th ending August 1st OR Saturadays from 9am-9:30am starting July 8th ending July 29th
(Prerequisites- all dogs who wish to attend Agility must have completed Sam I Am Dog Walking & Training's Basic Obedience courses either in group classes or private sessions)
In Agility Class your dog will learn how to conquer their fears by learning how to go through tunnels, jump through hurdles, and so much more. Agility is a fun way to enhance Basic Obedience and Focus Skills, to show your dog that following your lead is fun and something they want to keep doing in the future; overall strengthening your bond as Dog Parent and Dog.
Private Agility Sessions ($40 per 30 minute session)
(Prerequisites- all dogs who wish to have Private Agility Sessions must have completed Sam I Am Dog Walking & Training's Basic Obedience courses)
In my Private Agility Session your dog will have the luxury to learn how to build up their confidence by learning how to jump through hurdles, weave through poles, and so much more with the privacy of having the course all to themselves. You and your dog can practice your agility skills at a time and day that works best for you and have full one on one focus and attention from me, your dog trainer, to help you and your dog learn agility skills. It's a great and fun way to enhance Basic Obedience Skills as well as create a deeper bond between you and your dog.
Puppy Play Group ($20 for 1 hour of playtime, 10am-11am: Starting May 2nd-
(Prerequisites- all puppies who wish to come to Puppy Play Group must have at least one Private Class with me as well as have distemper and rabies shots)
Puppy socialization is extremely important for all puppies and my Puppy Play Group is a fun and safe environment for your puppy to make some friends and learn how to properly socialize. My Puppy Play Group isn't just for puppies to run around and have run, it is also time I use to help educate my puppy parents on Dog Body Language and Nice Play vs. Not Nice Play. I also take under high consideration that some puppies are more outgoing, while others are more shy. To ensure that all puppies of all temperaments and personalities have a fun time at Puppy Play Group and help build confidence for those puppies who tend to be more reserved/shy, I split my puppies up so that all my more outgoing puppies are on one side and all my more reserved and shy puppies are on another side.
Swim Classes (Private classes $30 per 30 minute session- Seasonal)- No better way to exercise your dog and have you both cool off than teaching your dog how to swim! Topics we touch upon during sessions are:
1. Dog's natural ability to swim 2. Pool Safety 3. Life Vests 4. Motivation, Trust & Patience
Puppy Consultation ($20 per session)- Thinking of getting a puppy? Don't just pick one based upon looks or what other dogs have worked for other family members and friends. Let me help you truly find the right dog for you! Purebred or rescue? Puppy or an older dog? Lots of energy or laid back? These are just some of the questions that I will help you answer to help you find your PAWfect pup. Together we won't just find you the dog of your dreams, but also help keep many dogs from being given up and sent to shelters.
Mommy Mutt & Me (Saturday June 4th, 10:30am-11:30am, $70)- In my Mommy Mutt & Me sessions I help future mommy's prepare to bring their new bundle of joy home to their fur baby. We discuss what to expect when babies and dogs live together and the best ways to handle situations between dog and baby. This workshop will include "props" that help us create and practice "real life" situations. Key topics we discuss are:
1. Nesting 2. Stroller Walking 3. Pre Baby 4. Post Baby 5. Infant & Dog 6. Toddler & Dog 7. Jealousy 8. Dog Communication 9. Your Role As Mom & Fur Mom
Virtual Session ($50 per hour session)- Meet me on Skype or Zoom for a virtual training session! Utilizing technology, as well as my own dogs, Goliath and Marcelo, makes my virtual sessions a fun and easy way for me to help you train your dog at home.
